A studded winter tyre developed for Nordic conditions. Its Double Stud Technology combines centre studs for braking and acceleration with shoulder studs for cornering grip, and the pattern carries the 3PMSF severe-snow mark.
In Estonia studded tyres may be used from 15 October to 31 March; winter tyres are mandatory from 1 December to 1 March. The 205/55 R16 94T XL is one of 10 passenger-car sizes of this pattern.

Extra load: a reinforced carcass with a higher load index (94 = 670 kg) than the standard version of the same size. It is allowed wherever the standard size is approved.
